Rosa Sabater
Rosa Sabater has a background as both a senior corporate executive and an entrepreneur. She led marketing and customer experience organizations at American Express, was a Principal at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, and is currently founder CEO of Martellus, a marketing consulting firm. Sabater also developed NEXT, a women’s networking platform that connects hundreds of women to resources and each other, and she created NAVIGATE, a program that curates small groups of women who are at similar stages in their careers to help one another navigate work-life.
Rosa’s talks and workshops reflect her two core work beliefs: that we all deserve fulfilling work, and that we all have more agency than we think to make that happen.
Recent talks include:
Seize the Moment: Every day we come to work, we make a difference: because of the decisions we make, the energy we bring, and the way we treat ourselves and others. But there are only a handful of times over the arc of our careers where we are set up to shake up our corner of the world. How do you seize the moment? First, get your head right, and then work like you’re about to quit.
Chase Your Own Carrot: The world defines success for us. Sometimes those definitions of success serve us, sometimes they don’t. Let your ambition fuel you, but make sure it is in service of what you really want. In other words, chase your own carrot.
Leading Big: Good leaders know how to motivate teams to deliver outcomes. Superb leaders look past outcomes and create work environments that deliver meaning, connection, and fulfillment. It is precisely for these types of leaders that employees leave it all on the table.
Own Your Career – How to Put Yourself in the Driver’s Seat: We often look to bosses and mentors to help pull us along in our careers. The truth is that only you can drive your “career car.” This workshop focuses on super practical tips to put yourself in the driver’s seat…because if you’re not driving the car, no one is.
Rosa received a BA in Applied Mathematics and Political Science from Yale University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and her morkie, Lola; her two grown children drop in with laundry every once in a while.
